COVID–19: 12 more negative cases take Nagaland's total recoveries to 22

Out of the 128 COVID-19 cases in the state, 12 more patients have tested negative during the second test bringing down the number of active cases to 106 on June 10. 

 

 

“12 more patients have tested negative of COVID-19 in their second test. 8 from Kohima, and 4 from Dimapur. All the patients are under observation,” tweeted Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom on Wednesday afternoon. 

 

 

 

Nagaland reported another positive case on Wednesday taking the total infection to 128. However with 22 recoveries as of June 10, the total active cases now stand at 106.

 

 

Earlier, Incharge of Dimapur for COVID-19 activities, Y. Kikheto Sema, IAS informed that the negative results for four females came in late last night and they have been shifted to COVID-19 Care Centre at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur.

 

 

Meanwhile, he encouraged the patients not to panic as the medical team were doing their best to take care of them. He reiterated optimism that more patients would recover. Kikheto also lauded the medical team of Dimapur for working day and night during this trying times.
